Our Clinical Pilates combines the mind and body together during matwork exercise, engaging principles of good alignment and core stability control. We offer a creative, dynamic and fun workout which offers clients a flexible way to exercise under the safe guidance of a chartered physiotherapist trained to a high standard. Pilates has several potential benefits including the following:
- Improve joint mobility
- Enhance muscle flexibility
- Develop muscle tone & endurance
- Core stability control
- Improve breath control
- Facilitate good balance & proprioception
- Improve postural awareness
- Manage or reduce musculoskeletal problems
- Enhance sporting performance
- Promotes general wellbeing
Our instructors have vast experience in teaching and teach in a way that enables clients to progress at their own pace and modify their work-out as required. No one class is the same and all are planned with the clients attending in mind rather than a generic ‘one size fits all’ approach.
We recommend clients’ new to Cheshire Physiotherapy and Pilates attend a one to one consultation in advance of starting in classes. This ‘MOT’ style assessment enables us to review any health issues, get to know your body better in order to plan classes more effectively, and teach you the basic pilates principles.
To book your consultation, please get in touch via our contact us page, or call for further details. You’ll be able to speak to a chartered physiotherapist directly who can advise you on the best course of action.
